Privacy Policy
Effective October 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Momentum Bookkeeping LLC ("Momentum Bookkeeping," "I," "me," or "my") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit this website or contact me through it.
Information I collect
Information you give me. When you email me to book a consultation or ask a question, I receive whatever you include in your message, such as your name, email address, phone number, business name, and details about your bookkeeping needs.
Information collected automatically. Unless you decline analytics cookies (or, outside the United States, unless you accept them), this website uses Google Analytics to collect information about your visit, including:
- Pages you view and how long you stay on them
- The website or search that referred you here
- Your approximate location (such as city and country)
- Your device type, browser, operating system, and screen size
- A randomly generated identifier stored in a cookie, used to recognize return visits
How I use your information
- To respond to your inquiries and schedule consultations
- To provide and manage bookkeeping services if you become a client
- To understand which pages are useful and improve this website
- To comply with legal and record-keeping obligations
I do not use your information for advertising, and I do not sell it.
Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC. Google Analytics
uses cookies (named _ga and _ga_<ID>) to produce aggregate reports
about how visitors use the site. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. Advertising
features are not enabled on this site.
For visitors in the United States, analytics cookies are on by default, and you can turn them off at any time by clicking Decline. For visitors outside the United States, analytics cookies are only set if you click Accept. Your general location is determined by Google from your internet connection. When analytics cookies are off, no analytics cookies are stored on your device; Google may still receive basic, cookieless signals (for example, that a page was loaded) which it uses only to estimate overall traffic.
You can learn more about how Google uses this data at How Google uses information from sites that use its services, and you can opt out of Google Analytics on all websites with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Cookies and your choices
When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or decline analytics cookies. Your choice is remembered in your browser. You can change it at any time using the link at the bottom of every page. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, this website treats it as declining analytics cookies. Because there is no common industry standard for "Do Not Track" browser signals, this website does not respond to them separately, but you can decline analytics cookies at any time as described above.
How information is shared
I do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. I share information only with service providers that help me run this website and my business (such as Google for analytics and email), or when required by law.
Client financial records
Financial records and other information I receive while providing bookkeeping services are kept confidential and handled according to the terms of our engagement agreement. They are not collected through this website and are not used for analytics.
How long information is kept
Emails and inquiries are kept for as long as needed to respond, serve you as a client, and meet legal and record-keeping requirements. Google Analytics data is kept for no longer than 14 months.
Security
I use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so I cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including California, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information I hold about you. To make a request, email me at the address below. I will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.
Children's privacy
This website is intended for business owners and is not directed to children under 13. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When I do, I will change the effective date at the top of this page.
